Mae Hong Son waterfall
We stayed next in Pai, a little town full of foreigners, especially French, but the place is a mix of all kinds of people. From our resort we walked up a kilometer and a half to this waterfall to swim in the morning. The dirt road had tiny holes here and there where air was seeping out, like air from a tire. It was bizarre. There is a lot of underground activity here, like hot springs.

Butterflies
At the waterfall were these butterflies sitting in one spot on a rock. They were simply not interested in us and went about their business when we approached. There appeared to be something very interesting on the rock, but all we saw was rock. It was odd that they didn't fly away.

Hot springs
Farther along on our journey that day, we came to a real hot springs. It wasn't as fun as the place in Lampang (Jae Sorn), however.
