Next we came back down to Chiang Mai province and went to the the Chaing Dao cave. This is the only picture in this set that Christopher didn't take himself, since he doesn't have a flash. People outside the cave have their own photographs for sale. Chiang Dao cave has endless tunnels and caverns. The beauty of the rock formations has faded a lot due to people using torches and gas lanterns and the former use of spotlights, and also due to people breaking off rock for superstitious uses. However, the cave was still fun, with a lot of formations still intact, and you can imagine that it must have been amazing a hundred years ago.
