Our October 2002 English Camp to Petchaburi and Prachuap Kiri Khan provinces was one of our most fun ever. We had eight students and two teachers, a full van (actually one more little person might have fit), and we had the same driver as last year, Uncle Nong. On this trip we experienced many different kinds of environments, from deep mountain forests in Kaeng Krachan National Park to marshes, mangrove forests and beaches in Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. We also saw the town of Prachuap Kiri Khan. We climbed up a whopping three cliffs in various places, and it was worth the effort every time, as you will see in the pictures here. There was almost no rain during our camp, and the weather was wonderful everywhere we went. This is significant in that there had been nasty floods all over the country prior to the trip (on the way we saw extensive flooding in Thailand's central areas). So all in all, we were lucky and had a good plan (a good combination). We didn't want to come home at the end of this camp.
These pictures are compressed but are still high quality, and some are rather large, so they will take time to load. Please be patient. We think you will enjoy them.
