Behind Lam Sala beach, at the base of the cliffs, there is a nice little nature trail that leads to the beach. Along the way we encountered a gaggle of monkeys (Spectacled Lemurs) right over our heads, looking down at us curiously.

Everywhere on the beach there were tiny crabs, which are fun for kids to pester.

The crabs make pathways to their holes and make little balls of sand. It's almost unbelievable to see a huge area completely covered in tiny balls by these little creatures.

These are the white kind of jellyfish. People say they don't sting, but you didn't see any of us tossing them around. We did play in the water, but we always were on the lookout for jellyfish swimming by. Luckily they are very slow.
