Next we drove inland to the Kaeng Krachan Dam and the Kaeng Krachan National Park. This is the reservoir the dam created. We didn't stay here, though. We drove up to the "Bahn Klang" campsite in the national park, and ended up not staying there, either, because we met our guide and he took us to stay in the forest. We felt really lucky, and I'm sure the other people who came to camp at Bahn Klang were lucky not to have a bunch of noisy kids ruin their evening.

After setting up we went to play in this stream nearby. We walked down the middle of it, over the rocks, for a long way. When we came back we bathed in it. It felt SO good to lie down in this stream.

Our forest campsite, overlooked by unseen monkeys, which danced around us as we slept (or didn't sleep).

These little tiny moths came to rest on anything wet that we set out.
