About This Site
This site has been a project of Christopher and Kat of the Bahn Cru School of English in Lampang, Thailand since about 1998. In 1994 we moved to the U.S.A., but this site and everything we did with our school is still dear to our hearts. We will continue to maintain the Tookaa site, and hope to add to it as we have time. Below are some descriptions of what you will find here:

The Fun and Games section has online English learning games created by this site's webmaster and Bahn Cru School teacher Christopher Pickert. Don't miss "Deny It 2" and the "Indirect Speech Game".

The Haunted House has spooky stories written by Thai students. You can write your own, and if we like it we will put it on this site!

The English Of Love room is a place to let out all of your pent up, mushy, gushy, steamy, irrational feelings. You can learn the language of love, and you can write about famous people you like.

The Thais and English section addresses the problems Thais have as they learn English.

Lampang Clubhouse: the rest of this site is for all Thai people, but the Lampang Clubhouse is especially for Lampang students to share their feelings and opinions in English about their city and local issues.

How To Take Notes: this is an important study skill that is not being taught in most Thai schools, so we have created a summary of good notetaking techniques for all you good students out there to try.

Featured Story: stories are a big part of our teaching, and we often have our students write their own. This page shows fun stories that our students have written. If you have a good story, send it in!
